Hello students! I know what it’s like to be you. I received both my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Master of Social Work degree from WCU. I enjoy helping people of all ages, particularly young adults, who want to address parts of themselves that are limiting their full potential. You know something doesn’t feel right but you aren’t quite sure; or maybe you know what’s wrong and want to make change but are afraid of what that might look like. I provide a safe, comfortable, and empowering space for those willing to explore.

My approach to treatment is one of compassion and collaboration. My goal is to develop a positive working relationship with you and help create a space in which you can begin to better understand yourself, resolve problems, and heal the past. My approach is practical, down to earth, and individualized to your needs. Therapy doesn't have to be mysterious or scary. I enjoy working with those who are new to therapy and want to help you feel comfortable and in control. Empirically supported treatments, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, are at the core of my treatment approach. I specialize in: anxiety, trauma, OCD, worry, school refusal, children and teenagers, relationship issues, loss or grief, immigration and acculturation challenges, women's issues, parenting, transition to college or graduate school.

Tina DeMure is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of combined nursing experience. She specializes in the management of Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Trauma. Ms. DeMure treats patients ages 18 years and up in her private practice in Paoli, PA. She also provides virtual visits to individuals living throughout the state. She offers comprehensive and individualized care by working collaboratively with each patient to develop the best plan of care to achieve their goals. Her treatment approach focuses on developing relationships with her clients while accompanying and supporting them on their mental health journey. Tina believes that it is extremely important to take time with each patient and that medication management goes hand-in-hand with listening, discussions, and other interventions, such as therapy, non-pharmaceutical supplements, diet, and exercise. COLLEGE, NURSING SCHOOL, MASTERS IN PSYCHIATRIC NURSING AND BOARD CERTIFICATION TO PRESCRIBE PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATIONS: Tina graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for over a decade in a wide variety of clinical settings, including emergency departments, critical care settings, and various outpatient services. These experiences helped to broaden both her perspective and medical knowledge. In 2016, she graduated with a Master’s Degree from Duke University as a Family Nurse Practitioner and focused on Women’s Health and Addiction Medicine. This experience opened her eyes to the extreme need for mental health care providers and she then pursed her certification through Johns Hopkins University as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked primarily in outpatient clinics with a focus on underserved populations. • Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner • Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner • Licensed to Prescribe Psychiatric Medications • Serving patients in Pennsylvania in-office and virtually. • NJ licensing pending (as of 2023, call for updates).

I DO TELEHEALTH I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief and loss and bipolar disorder, school/work adjustment and stress. You might feel overwhelmed and alone with so many obligations and responsibilities. Maybe you are under constant pressure and you don't see room for change. It's hard to see a possibility for change when you keep looking at the problem with one perspective, your own perspective. Let's talk about it, you are not alone. I have years experience in community health and private practice. I've worked with people at all levels of function, resources, financial support or crisis. The one true constant for those people I've been fortunate enough to work with is that personal resources are already inside them. Sometimes people have trouble accessing these strengths or they may be burred by noisy negative self-talk, worn out or unhelpful ideas about ourselves and other emotional baggage. I'm here to help so give me a call. I am currently offering telehealth sessions and this is covered by most insurances.

Psychologist

Hello! I am a psychologist who enjoys supporting college-age individuals in a variety of ways. In this season of life, academics and social activities can be common stressors, in addition to family and career issues. Students may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or other learning differences that affect them inside and outside the classroom. I enjoy brainstorming and helping young people access the resources they need, both on campus and in their community. I take a holistic approach to healthy living, and look closely at individual habits and behaviors. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach to individuals who would like to include spirituality or religion in their work. I meet with clients in person in our Chalfont and Chester Springs locations, as well as virtually in the 40+ states that participate in PsyPact (https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap).

I specialize in the assessment of neurological, developmental and learning challenges. As a neuropsychologist and certified school psychologist, most of my time is spent on neuropsychological evaluations for educational purposes, helping students with developmental delays, learning disabilities, ADHD and brain injuries, including concussions. Over the years, my services have grown with my patients to include services for adults with these same challenges as well. I am on staff at Doylestown Hospital and, as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), I serve as the neuropsychological consultant to the Bucks County IU’s BrainSTEPS Program, where we work to help students with concussions and severe brain injuries re-enter school successfully.
