I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I have worked and trained in the mental health field for more than 10 years. During the course of my professional career, I have had the privilege of working with clients who were diverse in the areas of age, gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability status, socioeconomic status, and spiritual/religious affiliation. I have worked in various settings and in different roles such as an Outpatient Therapist, Mental Health Professional in a Partial Hospitalization Program, a Sexual Assault Counselor and Legal Advocate in A Domestic Violence Shelter, and a Social Service Therapist, Social Work Coordinator and Assistant Director of Clinical Services in a psychiatric hospital.

I see plenty of college students, including those who are taking a semester or two off as they figure out what to do next. I have two main areas of specialization: ADHD and sex therapy. I have written four books on ADHD and am a certified sex therapist. I tend to keep things practical and focus on what is going on in my clients' daily lives and how to help them get to where they want to be (which may begin with figuring out where that is anyway).
