You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally worn down by the demands of daily life. You might be navigating stress, life transitions, or ongoing challenges while trying to find a sense of balance and clarity. Let's talk about it, my role is to listen, guide, and help you find strategies and treatment options that work for you. A little about me: I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, transitions, and life stressors.

One of my favorite things a patient has said to me is - “Thank you for being part of my journey”. That’s what life is to me – a journey we are all on together. What I want for everyone is that they can overcome any barriers they may have so that they can become their whole selves and live life to its fullest. I work with many kinds of people from all walks of life on issues like neurodiversity, autism, anxiety, ADHD, family history, relationships, and couples’ concerns. I also have expertise working with college students, international students, young adults, and couples after working and training at the University of Rochester counseling center. I have done training specifically to provide therapy through an anti-racist lens and continue to reflect on my own whiteness. I use a mixed relational approach pulling from person centered therapy, existential therapy, DBT and more. I am committed to providing a safe, sex positive, non-judgmental space for trust and growth to happen. Are you looking for change? Are you ready to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and uncover your potential? Then give me a call or send an email and we can set up a consultation. Let’s start the conversation!

Welcome! You made it through the first hurdle by asking for help. It's hard to admit, even to yourself, that this time of your life is not easy. It's OK to ask for help. No judgement. This is a safe place. Many of my patients struggle with anxiety, depression or alcohol/drug issues. And many of them get better. Have hope.

If you are feeling the exhaustion of carrying everyone else's expectations while neglecting your own, you aren't just 'stressed'—you’re likely hitting a wall. With over 20 years of clinical experience, I help individuals navigate the weight of trauma and burnout to find a path back to themselves. Whether you are struggling with a relationship that feels like a constant uphill battle or navigating the complexities of trauma, you need more than just 'someone to talk to.' You need a seasoned clinician who can help you identify the patterns keeping you stuck. Difficulty focusing on class work or connecting with friends are common issues in college settings and we can work together to explore what may be creating obstacles for you.the best way to reach me and schedule an appointment is through my Headway link: https://care.headway.co/providers/bradley-jacobs?utm_source=pem&utm_medium=direct_link&utm_campaign=171789

Do you feel paralyzed by the uncertainty of these challenging times? Is it difficult to find the time to slow down and take a breath? Are you often lonely or worried about what other people think of you? If any of these sound like you, then you've come to the right place. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can address anxiety, depression, and perfectionism openly through identifying and exploring underlying disappointments, losses, and traumas. Through this process, we’ll work together to rewrite your “story of loss” into a “story of growth.” It is my goal that students will be able to use the safety of our relationship to learn how to approach life’s difficulties with curiosity instead of fear. As a “recovering academic,” I know how hard it can be to balance school, family, friends, and self-care. Central to my work with students is a commitment to antiracist, anti-capitalist practice. In our work together, we’ll examine how systemic factors influence your worldview and the challenges you face. My approach to therapy is focused on providing emotional support, normalizing what you're going through, and finding ways to make more space for yourself. Above all, it is my priority that therapy is a refuge from day-to-day suffering where we can work together to find joy.

At Mind Body Soul Marriage and Family Therapy, we work with individuals and couples who are feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. Many of our clients come to us struggling with communication breakdowns in their relationships, unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, or difficulty navigating major life transitions. Whether you’re feeling unheard in your relationship or burdened by emotional pain, you don’t have to face it alone. Our approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. We specialize in trauma-informed care and use approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients build deeper emotional connections, develop insight, and create lasting change. We focus not just on symptom relief, but on helping you understand the “why” behind your experiences so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and stronger relationships.

Hello! I'm a senior clinician (NY, CT and PSYPACT states) who specializes in working with young adults and their parents using evidence-based methods. I use DBT to help people stick to their intentions and goals, rather than feeling controlled by their moods. I draw from DBT and CBT to help patients, parents, and couples improve relationships and face fears. In addition to DBT, I employ specialized CBT treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP) to target OCD, Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), DBT-PE, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and exposure for phobias. I have special interests in treating sleep and circadian rhythm problems and climate anxiety. Most people benefit from identifying their goals and concrete steps to achieve them. I want to help you picture your life worth living and to systematically work towards feeling content. Please don't hesitate to reach out to see if I'm a good fit for your needs!

Sometimes we feel stuck. We take steps forward, only to find ourselves falling back into old patterns and familiar responses. We don’t want to repeat them, but somehow, they persist. Whatever the source of the struggle, we’ll work together to explore where these responses come from, why they continue, and what’s needed to make different choices moving forward. Healing begins with understanding how the past still lives in the present. I primarily use EMDR Psychotherapy to uncover the experiences that have shaped your life. Together, we’ll explore the parts of you that feel stuck, scared, or alone. No one grows up untouched by pain—but it is possible to move forward on a different path. You are your greatest and most valuable resource. Everything you need to create change is already within you. It’s not easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’ll be with you every step of the way, honored to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your capacity for healing, growth, and transformation. Let’s do this together.

Welcome! If you're here, reading this, I want to tell you how great it is that you're looking for support. It's a scary process and one with many twists and turns. I work with people, just like you, who are trying to figure things out, get their footing and understand what their options are. Although we'd all love one, there is no playbook for how to make tough decisions, navigate all the big feelings and situations that come up while you're also trying to do well in school and, frankly, attempt to enjoy the experience of being at college. But it can be tough to make all the pieces work for you. That's what we do together - we figure out what's working for you, what's not going so well and what you'd like to do to make changes. Therapy can sound a bit overwhelming - it's really just a long running conversation. Perhaps you're an old hat at therapy but you've needed to find someone new - that's challenging in its own way. Whatever you're looking for, it's good that you've started. If you're ready, curious or just want to know more, please don't hesitate to reach out for a consult call where we'd get to know each other a bit, see if we'd be a good fit and go from there! And it's free! If I'm not for you - and I'm not, that's the way this works - that's OK and together we can figure out what might be a bit better fitting. I hope to hear from you and in the meantime, wish you the best.

I am a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York with over 25 years of experience working with college and graduate students to improve their quality of life. I create a safe, supportive environment in which to explore what may be creating obstacles to taking control, feeling better and having more satisfying relationships. When people are in pain or feel “stuck”, this can help to empower them to make changes that lead to a healthier life. I have extensive experience working with diverse clientele who experience depression and anxiety, family and parenting issues, and grief and loss. I also address challenges around life transitions, questions of identity, chronic illness, and work stress/conflict. Certified in EMDR, I am passionate about exploring how this treatment can help individuals heal from life experiences that continue to negatively impact them. Appreciating one’s culture, family background and life experiences is essential to understand a person’s perspective and values to gain insights. I am a caring and respectful clinician who works collaboratively with clients to achieve outcomes important to them. Goals for therapy are discussed intentionally so that people achieve a greater sense of wellbeing in measurable ways. The relationship between myself and my client is a true partnership.

I am a psychotherapist (LMFT) and earned my masters at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Since graduating, I have worked in community mental health, helping clients on issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships and specialize in grief work. I am trained in EMDR and Complicated Grief Treatment. I opened Sage Hill Therapy with the hope of creating a place where people can work through difficult experiences. I believe that people can grow and that sometimes we need help in that journey. It is important to talk about how diversity, equity, and inclusion impacts us as a community. I work to provide a safe space where people can express and explore the weight of racism, inequality and discrimination. Please call or email me if you are interested in setting up a phone consultation.
