Life can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to balance responsibilities, relationships, work, and expectations while also managing anxiety, stress, or unresolved trauma. You may appear to be holding it all together on the outside while struggling internally with burnout, overthinking, self-pressure, or feeling emotionally stuck. I specialize in helping clients process, heal, and grow through life transitions, anxiety, and trauma in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. I utilize evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and ACT to help clients move beyond survival mode toward greater clarity, balance, confidence, and emotional relief. I work with students, adults, couples, and veterans who are seeking respite and levity for whatever issues they may find themselves mired within. I believe that healing cannot occur in isolation and the role of therapist is to serve as a guide and confidant in the healing process. I will help you in discovering your own wellness touchstones that will assist in promoting your unique therapeutic needs. Some of the therapeutic interventions and modalities that I base my work on include client/person centered therapy, expressive arts therapy, substance abuse and addictions counseling, mindfulness based approaches, trauma focused therapy, men’s work, and psychodynamic theory. As your therapist, I will assist you in your personal process of healing and self-discovery. I look forward to hearing from you!

Immediate telehealth evening appts. You're tired. You have to carry BIG emotions all the damn time with no outlet to let them out. You may cry when you’re alone, but put on a smile so the world can’t see you're hurting on the inside. There is no time to slow down because slowing down makes the inner critic grow louder about how awful you are. Perhaps you get some release through eating or other coping methods, but ultimately, that voice comes right back again. The inner critic makes it hard for you to accept yourself and love your flaws. It makes it hard for you to live your life intentionally, with confidence in yourself to use your voice. Everyone deserves to live a life they're excited to wake up to. Therapy helps with this. It allows you to show up and be your authentic self while healing that inner critic who causes trauma and shame. You don't have to save face. The journey may be tough. However, taking a step allows you to get closer to the resiliency you seek and break the cycle. If anything above resonates with you, I see you. I look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself. All you have to do is show up and I'll walk the beaten path with you. Just call or schedule at (www.ashleyhoseycounseling.com). I'm an OON provider but ask about superbills and other payment options.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and encouraging environment, while providing you with the tools you need to begin the healing process. I believe in helping my clients find the answers they already have access to. As a therapist, I strive to join with my client to understand their path to success.
