I have daytime and evening openings on most weekdays! I approach therapy holistically and use an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. My work is grounded in the belief that we all possess innate strengths that can guide us toward healing. Together, we will work to uncover your strengths and create pathways toward greater well-being. We have a couple dogs in the office and I am always happy to incorporate animal-assisted therapy into my work! Some of my other approaches include CBT, DBT, existential psychology, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based therapy, meditation, body-oriented psychotherapy, and spirituality. We can work together to find a course of therapy that works best for you, at your own pace.

As a licensed mental health counselor, I work with adult clients to address anxiety, depression, and life stressors. Each person has their own strengths, and I enjoy helping clients work with their individual tools to find sustainable balance. From years of experience working in outpatient therapy, I have developed an eclectic approach to counseling- pulling from ACT, mindfulness based, solution focused, and nature based orientations. I specialize in treating anxiety related disorders, but work with many clients struggling with mood disorders, previous trauma, and difficult life transitions. I understand that getting started with therapy or working with a new counselor can be a daunting process, and strive to create an environment in which clients feel supported and collaborative. Welcome! I'm a licensed psychologist specializing in providing treatment to young adults facing a variety of mental health concerns. I am committed to understanding and addressing the unique challenges that young people (especially girls and women) encounter today. I strive to foster a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment for clients to explore their emotions, better understand and express themselves, and develop the resilience and coping skills required to effectively manage the challenges they encounter. I employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are tailored to each individual's unique needs and developmental stage. Common concerns I treat include: anxiety and stress, depression/mood disorders, behavioral and emotional dysregulation, social problems, family conflict, and trauma-related issues. I also provide comprehensive psychological assessments. My psychological evaluations can help gain diagnostic clarity, identify underlying issues (e.g., learning disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, etc.), and assist with treatment and educational planning.
I work with college students impacted by trauma and those who struggle with attention deficit and social difficulties in a long-term therapeutic relationship. I am particularly passionate about working with those on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. I have expertise in relational trauma, substance abuse, and social difficulties in the context of major life transitions. I am also practiced in working through executive dysfunction and autism spectrum disorders. I also conduct neuropsychological and psychological assessment and testing. If you feel that you are struggling with attention, social deficits, memory, planning, or other areas of executive functioning, neuropsychological testing might help.

I specialize in treating eating disorders and body image, and I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, relationship problems, life transitions, stress, and addiction. I balance insight and understanding with skills and practical tools for change. I believe that people always have the capacity to grow and change. We’ll work together to determine your goals for treatment and to develop a plan that meets those goals. I have a special interest in working with individuals or their loved ones as they navigate significant illness, grief/loss or other issues stemming from receiving complex medical care. As a board-certified psychiatrist I can also prescribe, when indicated, psychiatric medications – either in combination with or separate from therapy. When medications are considered, I will work collaboratively with you to make shared treatment decisions while carefully weighing the risks, benefits and alternatives to medication. I have extensive experience helping patients with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, low self-esteem, ADHD, OCD, identity questions and more. I also have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ individuals. In addition to my practice, I’m also a Teaching Associate at Harvard Medical School and a member of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute.
