Do you struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself or others, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or unsure how to navigate significant societal changes? Do you feel overwhelmed by the pressure to hold it all together, to keep showing up for others while putting your own needs on the back burner? Do you wonder if it’s possible to feel more grounded, connected, and alive? Right now, LGBTQIA2S+ folks and highly sensitive people are feeling exhausted and uncertain about how to move through life with authenticity and connection to our values, especially in a world that doesn’t always make space for who we are. With gentleness, compassion, and intention, I provide a space to reconnect with your most authentic self. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and intuitive. I offer somatic and relational therapy for individuals, couples, and families in Texas. Helping queer people and sensitive people reclaim their aliveness is my calling. I support you in finding emotional safety, building self-trust, and co-creating relationships that are mutual and fulfilling. Are you ready to deepen your intuition and to build more meaningful connection to yourself and others? Reach out for a free intro call today!

Whether it's anxiety about the future, pressures from relationships, or hurt from past trauma, we all can feel lost at times. Maybe you know exactly what you want to work on, OR you are uncertain and don't know where to start, I'm here to help! My work is to learn about you, and work alongside you to create a safe place for you to process life events, unlearn unhelpful thoughts or behaviors, build coping skills, find direction, and work towards inner peace. Together we can re-gain a sense of control as no matter what has led you here, I believe in the human capacity to adapt and grow with the right support. Finding the right therapist can be a tricky and vulnerable experience. My work is rooted in values of authenticity and humility, as I find it an honor to walk alongside folks as they explore their inner self and seek to understand important relationships and connections in their life. Alot of my work is with college students and those who are new to therapy or who seek someone who they can connect with. Even if that doesn't sound exactly like you, feel free to reach out, or check-out my website below to learn more about me!

I am committed to working with individuals to assuage the burden of their issues through mutual commitment to their growth. This is sometimes accomplished individually, or, in some cases, as couples work. I further work with young men struggling to establish an identity in the absence of their biological fathers.

Like most of my clients I have my own share of childhood trauma. I’ve had to deconstruct childhood messages of not being good enough. I’ve had to learn to set boundaries and learn that I’m not required to put others' needs above my own. I think learning that I'm loved and worthy, even when other's are angry with me has been the most difficult lesson of all. The very path that many of you are starting out on, I have walked myself. This journey isn't about reliving your worst memories, it's about taking away their power. I’ve worked hard to reclaim my own story, now I want to help you reclaim yours. I specialize in helping those with anxiety and trauma, both in individual and couples counseling. Using the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parts work, and EMDR approaches I help client's find ways to ease the sharp edges of relationships and life. I help find ways to navigate difficulties in life and move with ease and grace. I'm not a passive therapist and I actively work to help build skills you can use every day. I like to use humor, playful sarcasm, and just enough of “tell it like it is” to help you reach your personal summits. I will challenge you to stretch but not break your comfort zones. I will also sometimes be the kick in the pants you need.

I understand that every single person has been molded and formed by their environments around them. Sometimes, that leads us to being a person that we no longer want to be, which is when therapy can be helpful. In order for effective change to take place, therapy must be a safe and welcoming place in order for you to feel comfortable learning and discovering which route to take in your self-discovery journey. I prefer to be the passenger while you are in the driver’s seat telling me the route you want to take, and me helping you navigate the way to get there. I can’t promise that the journey will always be rainbows and sunshine, there will be tough truths and strategies that seem hard to implement, but the destination will be one that you have longed for and are ready to receive.

As a modern therapist, I take an active and collaborative approach. I’m not just going to focus on the symptoms being presented - I want to understand the root cause behind your struggles and genuinely get to know you as a human. I love working with women who are motivated to grow and have a desire to understand themselves on a deeper level. Through our work together, we’ll unpack your story to understand your barriers and help you cultivate a new level of self-awareness. We’ll explore how you can implement new tools to better navigate your emotions, address relationship challenges, and gain confidence within. I’ll maintain a balance of supporting you and gently challenging you so that you can begin living an intentional and fulfilling life - whatever that looks like to you. My commitment is to not judge you, and to provide a space where you can show up as your authentic self.

My clients tend to feel like they haven’t fully fit, often misunderstood in their environments. The stories we tell ourselves are very important, often they are stories that others have told us or placed on us. I believe that there is power in taking back our story and discovering what aspects you wish to keep or change. I approach therapy in an existential and narrative lens, with somatic and mindfulness influences to create a safe, inviting, and culturally sensitive therapeutic relationship. Some of my clients are discovering who they are, where my role is to give you a safe, inquisitive playground to explore parts of yourself. Other clients understand themselves, but may struggle living their true self in different contexts. Ultimately, I pay close attention to the why underlying your narrative to identify the meaning in what you bring up. Sometimes, these intersections are particular visible in our relationships. I offer couples and family counseling using a transgenerational lens & Gottman Institute techniques for pre-marital counseling. I offer free 20 minute consultation calls to discuss our goodness of fit.

The students I connect with most are often feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where they’re headed. Many of them are juggling school, relationships, family pressure, and trying to figure out who they are — all at once. They may look like they have it all together, but inside, they're feeling anxious, burnt out, or like they’re falling behind. What they all have in common is a desire for change — even if they’re not sure what that change looks like yet. They’re open to talking things through, getting real about what’s going on, and learning how to take small, manageable steps forward. If this sounds like you, you’re not alone. Therapy is a space where we can figure things out together — no judgment, no pressure, just support and tools that actually make sense for your life.

Welcome! You are taking a brave first step by seeking therapy. It is natural to want to avoid what is difficult and scary. Unfortunately, this avoidance often reinforces fear and slows healing. My goal is to support you in facing what feels overwhelming at a pace that is safe and sustainable. For the past five years, I have worked primarily with survivors of sexual and relationship abuse, individuals coping with loss, and individuals navigating difficult life transitions. I am passionate about creating a therapeutic space that is safe, warm, and trauma-informed. I utilize a relational-approach informed by evidence-based practice. Some people enter therapy with well-defined goals, while others begin therapy simply with the desire to change. I strive to help you define your individual therapeutic goals and to support you towards these goals at a pace that is comfortable for you. Research has shown that more important to any modality utilized by your therapist is your connection and trust in them. I believe that therapy works best when it is grounded in a genuine and collaborative relationship. I look forward to speaking with you further!

College can feel like a lot—figuring out who you are, juggling classes, friendships, family expectations, and the pressure to “have it all together.” If you’ve been feeling anxious, disconnected, self-critical, or just plain overwhelmed, you’re not alone. I love working with students who are realizing their needs, boundaries, and intuition matter—even if they’re still figuring out what that actually means. If you need is space to breathe, slow down, and reconnect with who you really are, I would love to support you. My style is warm, conversational, and collaborative—I don’t lecture or “fix” you. Instead, I sit with you, help you untangle old patterns, and explore new ways of moving through life that actually feel like you. Reach out and let's begin!

It's not about me, it's about you becoming the best you that you can be, overcoming whatever has been holding you back, and pursuing your dreams. If you're really interested in me though... I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 31 years of experience in social services (14 years as an LPC), find fulfillment in helping others to become fulfilled, am a happily married father of two (boy and a girl), enjoy playing music, am a lifelong learner, and have benefited from the exposure gained by traveling the world. My career has been varied and broad. I have helped young people find their path, adults define their purpose, and older souls examine transitions. My professional practice has included extensive experience treating people with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities), TBI (traumatic brain injuries) and other conditions; but more importantly, I am here to listen! No matter where a person is in life, my goal is to help those that I serve to fulfill their potential! I base my practice on an integrative approach which uses tools drawn from sources such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, REBT, Multi-Modal Therapy, Mindfulness, and other useful "classical" orientations. These techniques are incorporated and organized within a framework (general orientation) of Positive Psychology. In other words, I use proven, evidence-based therapies to help you to fulfill your potential!

College can feel like a lot sometimes. Maybe classes, friends, or just life in general feels overwhelming or confusing right now. If that’s where you’re at, you’re definitely not alone and I’m here to help. I work best with students who are juggling a bunch but want to feel more calm and like themselves again. Maybe anxiety or stress is getting in the way or you just want some space to figure things out without feeling judged. When we work together, it’s a relaxed, down-to-earth space where you can be honest and take things at your own pace. We’ll find little ways to help you feel stronger and more confident in what you’re dealing with. If you want someone who gets it and can support you, I’d love to connect.

Full Intentions is a therapy and movement practice that works at the intersection of mental health, identity, and the body. Most of the people who find us are carrying more than they talk about stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional numbness, impulsive patterns, or the pressure to keep it together for everyone else. We don’t rush your healing or ask you to “just think differently.” We help you slow down, understand what your nervous system is holding, and learn how to move with your emotions instead of against them. We work with trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship patterns, life transitions, self-worth, and nervous system dysregulation. Many of our clients are athletes and high performers who were taught to be strong before they were taught to be supported. No matter where you are starting from, you don’t have to do this alone. We’ll help you reconnect to yourself with intention, presence, and care. Reach out and we’ll match you with a clinician who best fits your needs.

You feel you can't make relationships work. Or you don't feel connected to anyone; nobody understands you. Maybe you feel exhausted because there is always something to deal with and fix, and you feel so much responsibility for making things work -for getting things right. Maybe you're feeling a lot of panic and anxiety, and you don't know exactly why, but you can't relax. Your mind is always racing. There's little enjoyment in your life. Everything feels tedious. You have done everything you can think of, and everything you are supposed to do, and it just doesn't work, no matter how hard you try. Hopefully, now, you are refusing to give up, but refusing to go another minute like this, and willing to reach out for help with someone who knows what you are going through. There is a way out, and you do not have to do it alone. With personal experience and training, I will be by your side to help you make the changes you need to feel safe, supported, and more in control. If any of this sounds like your experience, and you're ready to commit to our work together, please contact me and we can get started right away.
