Are you trying to navigate life's many challenges in a more flexible, aware, and skillful way? Let's collaborate to change patterns that aren't working for you. Respecting that you are the expert on your life and goals, I will integrate my training and experiences to support you in growth. Individuals often work with me to shift patterns of anxiety or depressed mood, to reclaim the energy wasted on perfectionism or overly harsh self-criticism, to reduce procrastination and improve effectiveness, to make progress on health goals, to improve the quality of their relationships, and to manage stress more efficiently. I also specialize in perinatal mental health (pregnancy, post-partum, fertility, loss) and in working with parents of children of all ages. Most people I work with choose online therapy, and some meet with me in the office. As a member of PSYPACT I can often continue to work with you online while you visit home or work/study outside of PA. (For participating states: https://psypact.org/page/psypactmap)

Hi, I’m Janet. You may be overwhelmed, shutdown, struggling with deep moral distress and existential dread, or stuck in AuDHD burnout, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I specialize in supporting people deeply connected to non-human animals and nature and those experiencing AuDHD burnout. Other areas of expertise are chronic illness, medical trauma, and sociopolitical moral distress. I am compassionate, warm, collaborative, and prioritize building a safe trusting relationship with you. I explicitly recognize structural injustices in my work and practice anti-oppressively. We can support your nervous system, clarify what is important to you, and help you move - at your pace - toward what matters most to you.

Hello! My name is Halley and, as a therapist, it is my intention to look beyond the symptoms being presented to identify the root of the problem and to make space for you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a label. This often looks like examining our most intimate relationships, the family system, and what connections or patterns exist between the two. If you find yourself often wondering "Why am I like this?" and "Why does this keep happening?,” then we may be a good fit - especially if you have been in therapy before, feel like you have the tools or knowledge, and like you should be able to do something differently. It is my belief that our most intimate relationships impact us and how we move through the world. My hope is to help you look at those relationships, to better understand them, and to identify your role in creating your own experience. I often attempt to do this by asking questions, making observations, and inviting you to do the same. Therapy is messy. Therapy is not linear. Therapy is a process. I would be honored to be a part of yours and be alongside you as you learn about yourself while achieving the long-term healing and awareness that you deserve.

I am a licensed professional counselor since 2003, and work with other practitioners in an office located about four blocks from campus. I really enjoy working with college students of all ages, and specialize in the needs of international and graduate students. I have a particular interest in recovery from sexual assault, other trauma, and grief/loss. My counseling approach is grounded in humanistic psychology, as I believe that therapy is a process in which we work together to find the best path forward, and are open to changing course whenever we need to.
Everyone Copes Differently There is no one right way to cope with trauma, triggers, and other difficulties you’re struggling with. However, when your stress and anguish affect your relationships, work, education, self-confidence, or general ability to feel happy, there has to be another way. Wherever you are in your healing journey, your feelings are valid, and you deserve to be heard. But getting the help you need means more than talking to someone who looks great on paper. Finding a therapeutic strategy that works means connecting to a certified professional who understands what you’re going through, how your life is being impacted, and what it means to feel “normal” again. You are enough. My Wellness Center is here to help during your healing journey.
Clients who work best with me tend to yearn awakening and change. I welcome the challenge to help clients connect with higher versions of themselves. My goal is to show you that there is a better way. A way to live with intention and purpose, guided by the best version of you!
