I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing diagnostic assessment and evidence based psychotherapy for the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. I have diagnosed and treated a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders in inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and telehealth settings. I also have specialized training in treating adolescents and young adults with co-occurring physical and mental health conditions. I use a collaborative approach to create an individualized treatment plan that capitalizes on existing strengths and aligns with patients' short- and long-term goals for treatment. I obtained my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Case Western Reserve University, followed by a clinical internship at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. My postdoctoral research training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine focuses on promoting well-being during life transitions among individuals and families experiencing chronic stress. My waitlist is open, please email me! In a safe and non-judgmental environment, I utilize art therapy to help you process emotions and challenging life experiences. No experience in art is necessary to benefit, you only need the willingness to express yourself and engage in the creative process. I use art therapy in counseling with those who are seeking to process anxiety, stress, trauma and more. As your therapist, I will work with you to ensure that you feel safe and validated while we build the therapeutic relationship and process challenges with art therapy. Not into art? Not to worry, I also offer traditional talk therapy! Art therapy is a powerful mind-body therapeutic process. Using art in therapy stimulates the brain in areas inaccessible by verbal stimulation alone and contributes to new neural connections. Focus is on the therapeutic process of art making, creativity and reflection, as well as personal growth and development. I am here to help you with any challenges you might be facing. If this seems like a good fit for your needs, please reach out and we can discuss more in depth about how art therapy can benefit you! Email is the best way to reach me! I can add you to the waitlist immediately!

How are you doing with the dystopia? I'm Cori, and with me, therapy starts by acknowledging that we are living in the dark ages. But my clients are heroic. They're intrepid. They're wise. They are struggling to make meaning and survive in a harsh and terrifying era. Most of us feel pretty powerless. I try to offer a brand of queer Buddhist wizardry that helps people break generational curses, find the power they DO have, and create community that sustains them. I offer many evidence based approaches to therapy, especially those that help us change our relationship with ourselves, and changing our relationship with life and reality. Existential therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy, and narrative approaches are my bread-and-butter. I also work from a great deal of other experiences; as an activist, queer organizer, drag artist, social work professor, and a student of many wisdom traditions. I lived abroad in both Europe and Asia and know how alienating, frightening, and difficult it can be to adjust to a radically different culture. I studied tàijíquán and Daoist thought on Wǔdāng mountain in central China from 2010 to 2011, and have studied and practiced Buddhism since 2011 with various Tibetan, Bhutanese, and western Lamas.

Feeling isolated, depressed, anxious, or just want a non-judgmental person to speak with about the peaks and valleys of life? You're not alone! Therapy utilization is at an all time high in the United States. Just by looking for a therapist, you have done something brave and started your journey to healing. Many of my clients are individuals or couples who are frustrated with patterns that are no longer working for them and are looking for a guide to hold them accountable in reaching their goals. I am a sex and relationships therapist with a background in systemically-focused treatment. This means that I am not afraid to explore topics that many other therapists may shy away from like gender, spirituality, and politics. I also use mindfulness and creative arts therapy techniques to help clients express and understand their emotions. Life can be overwhelming and stressful, but you don't have to deal with it alone. Make the choice to put your wellness first.

I am a licensed counselor, board-certified art therapist, and trauma-informed yoga practitioner who blends evidence-based treatments into a creative and personalized approach. I specialize as a HAES (Health At Every Size) clinician who utilizes mind-body approaches such as art therapy, somatic therapy, and yoga in conjunction with talk therapy to treat bio-psycho-social disorders such as eating disorders and disordered eating. My clients are looking to make lasting and impactful changes in their lives to gain insight into their mental health and improve their own well-being. I believe humor and creativity are integral to building a therapeutic relationship. I specialize in art therapy where individuals may work through their issues by gaining insight and expressing themselves through metaphor. Clients will gain greater insight into their mind-body connection, and how they can utilize their strengths to minimize feelings of shame and increase overall life satisfaction. I can assist in improving one's relationship with food, movement, perfectionist tendencies, and themselves. My clients work towards gaining insight into their mental health and its mind-body connection by identifying triggers, warning signs, and impacts of distress. My clients build coping and calming skills to manage symptoms, improving executive functioning, boundaries, and relationships with others and themselves.

Are you ready to regain control of your life? Lucky for you, you’re in the right place. It is my goal to push you to your fullest potential, empowering you to be the best version of yourself. Change can be difficult, but also rewarding. During our time together, it is my promise to work just as hard as you - while meeting you where you’re at. I offer a “down to earth” clinical style that provides a safe, supportive and genuine space for you to be your truest self, without the fear of judgment. Whatever the concern, know that I am on your side. As an LPC in the state of PA I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults among a variety of settings over the last 7-8 years, strengthening my skill set to meet your needs. Our first session will be structured toward getting to know one another, while identifying goals and objectives you believe are important for you to target while in therapy. This will later translate into a more specific and individualized treatment plan that will set the tone for future sessions. Though I practice primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral modality, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques to support the experience of intense emotions among many mood disorders and intrapersonal conflicts. I challenge you to explore strength-based strategies to support independent growth and improved self-esteem. Additional areas incorporated into treatment include: communication skills, mindfulness intervention and strengthened self-awareness. I believe therapy is a space one needs to feel comfortable in, therefore it is my mission to provide that to you. I am here to have real, stress-free conversations, acting as a soundboard and listening to you and your needs. I am here to provide education, support and guidance in an empathic, confidential manner.

Mental health symptoms like depression, anxiety, anger, stress, etc., are just that- symptoms! These symptoms come from somewhere in your life, it is your bodies way of telling you "something's not right" or "there needs to be a change here." It is my passion to help one figure out what these symptoms are trying to tell them. After we understand the message we will work to build knowledge, mindsets, skills, and other insights to continue growth and prevent those symptoms from returning or reduce the impact they have on ones life.

You’ve done the work. Therapy isn’t new to you—you’ve been there, talked through it, gained awareness. You get why you are the way you are, but despite all of that, you still feel stuck. Like no matter how much you understand your past, something deeper is keeping you in survival mode. Maybe you had to grow up fast. Maybe life didn’t give you much room to just be a kid. You’re great at figuring things out, staying strong, analyzing your feelings—but sometimes, it feels like you’re thinking your way around healing instead of actually feeling it. That’s where I come in. I specialize in EMDR, a therapy that helps you move past what’s keeping you stuck—not just in your mind, but in your body and nervous system, too. If you’ve already explored meditation or mindfulness, even better! That means you already know how to tune in—now, we’ll go deeper. If you’re ready to stop just understanding your past and actually move beyond it, I’m here to help. Let’s do this work together. If you take the wheel on this journey, I'll be in the passenger seat with a compass and a map to be a partner all along the way.
