I work best with clients who may appear to have it together on the outside while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. Many are navigating trauma, OCD, mood changes, identity exploration, or relationship stress. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and those looking for an authentic, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to better understand themselves and heal.

I am a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate their challenges. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Worcester State University, where I also minored in Sociology and focused on mental health and women's studies. Following that, I earned a Master's in Forensic and Investigative Psychology from the University of Liverpool. From the very beginning of my career, I discovered my passion for working with families and children. I believe in creating warm and supportive environments where everyone feels safe and valued. This dedication inspired me to pursue a Master's in Social Work from Anna Maria College, allowing me to better serve the community that is close to my heart. I have had the privilege to work across various settings, including residential care, intensive in-home support, schools, and outpatient services, which has enriched my understanding of the diverse needs of families and children. In my sessions, I strive to foster a nurturing and compassionate space where clients can feel understood and empowered to pursue their goals. I use a strength-based approach, offering encouragement and support to help clients along their journey. I believe it is essential for clients to be at the heart of the treatment process, actively participating in setting their own goals. This ensures that their voices are not only heard but truly valued in every session. Together, we can embark on a transformative journey towards healing and personal growth. Clients can expect that they will be heard and respected in sessions, and that their goals and dreams are a priority. Through this process, they will be validated and supported in helping them reach their full potential.

I work with Students at all leveles and my approach is both flexible and eclectic. I often use Brief Intermittent Therapy. I find that it works best for people to come in for a defined brief period of time (such as 6-8 weeks) and focus on one specific area that needs attention; the time in therapy is more concentrated and effective. When the need arises, I welcome clients back for a "tune up." My clinical work with students and families began in the early 1990’s. Much of my career has centered on helping kids in school settings. I also work with teachers and staff. I have successfully supported clients during times of crisis, transition, and struggle. I can help with anxiety, depression, peers, LGBTQ+ issues, and post-concussion support. I invite you to reach out and see if we would work well together. I am equally comfortable working via teletherapy or in-person therapy. My office is located in Harwich Center on Cape Cod. I'm happy to discuss what works best for you. To establish a relationship with a therapist takes time and can be rewarding when you are able to build trust, knowing you are able to confide and share your perspective, your story. This process allows the individual the opportunity to gain clarity in a setting that is confidential and accepting. All too often emotional/physical pain can have a significant impact on our ability to remain independent, self-reliant, engaged in everyday tasks and life roles at level of independence that is rewarding to oneself and those they care for. As an Occupational Therapist with a background in behavioral health, I take a holistic approach. As an Occupational Therapist I have assisted many clients in understanding how their performance patterns, habits, routines, and roles influence life satisfaction. This process allows my clients the opportunity to promote, establish (or restore), or modify a task within a life role to create a sense of control over ones life. My background and 25 year experience have demonstrated success in supporting clients who experience physical/emotional pain and reduced functional independence. My ability to allow an individual to feel safe, acknowledged, and empowered while developing the tools and skills necessary for emotional stability, greater independence, and an effective resource.

Hi, I'm Andi (pronouns: she/they). I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington and Massachusetts, and I have been practicing since 2010. Therapy with me is fluid, and involves a mixture of deep processing and more structured skill building. I provide a relatable, compassionate and open space, where you can explore all aspects of yourself, and feel heard, seen and known. I believe we all have the innate capacity to heal and transform. Therapy with me is holistic - engaging your mind, body, emotions and spirit - focusing on concrete skills and strategies for tangible relief in your day to day, as well as deep understanding and establishing a greater sense of self, ease and freedom to “just be”. At Topsail Addiction Treatment in North Andover, we’re here for college students from Merrimack College—literally right down the street—and nearby spots like Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill or UMass Lowell, who are battling addiction while trying to keep their college life together. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is built for students like you—maybe you’re a Merrimack Warrior stressed out from exams and turning to drinking or drugs to cope, or a commuter student from Lawrence feeling trapped by a gambling habit that’s spiraled out of control. We connect best with those who are juggling school, work, or campus vibes but finding that substance use or betting is throwing them off track. We’re a great fit for students who are ready to face the mess—whether it’s partying too hard to numb the pressure, skipping classes because of a hangover, or losing cash you can’t afford on bets—and want to get back to feeling steady without dropping everything. Our clients often share a craving to reclaim their focus—to nail that paper, hang with friends without needing a drink, or just wake up clear-headed. Located just a couple miles from Merrimack College in North Andover, we’re easy to reach from Andover, Methuen, or Haverhill, and we’ve got your schedule covered with morning, afternoon, and evening IOP sessions. Got daytime classes? Our evening options let you hit the books during the day and get support after. Whether you’re the social type who’s overdone it, the stressed-out student hiding a pill problem, or the risk-taker who’s in too deep with gambling, our IOP offers a no-shame space to figure it out with a team that gets the college grind. With flexible sessions to match your life—mornings for early risers, afternoons for between-class gaps, or evenings to keep your days free—we’re here to help you break free from addiction and get back to thriving. Ready to take control and still keep your college groove? We’re just down the road.

I'm passionate about working with college students, especially international students, students of color, and first-generation students. These students are often interested in exploring their identities and navigating life transitions. They may also be looking for support with academic stress and how to live according to their values. I have previous experience working in a college counseling setting, and I'm eager to connect with students who are seeking support. I am psychodynamically trained and have focused much of my learning and clinical practice within a social justice framework. Before moving to the US, I lived and studied in China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Therefore, both Eastern and Western philosophies and values influence and inform my perspectives and the integrative approaches that I bring to my work.
