College is often described as the best time of your life—but for many students, it can feel overwhelming. The pressure to succeed academically, navigate social dynamics, and figure out who you are can be a lot to carry on your own. You don’t have to. I offer a supportive, low-pressure space where you can stop performing and start processing. Whether you’re stressed about exams, anxious about the future, feeling lonely in a crowd, or simply burned out, I understand the unique challenges college students face. My approach is designed to help you manage anxiety and burnout without adding more to your already full schedule. Therapy doesn’t have to mean you’re in crisis. It can simply be a place to gain tools, build resilience, and create more balance during this pivotal time in your life. From imposter syndrome to difficult relationships to constant stress, we’ll work together to make college feel more manageable—and more meaningful. Let’s make therapy a supportive, sustainable part of your week.

Everyone experiences distressing or overwhelming challenges at different points in life. Many people struggle to manage these inevitable difficulties, get stuck and then subsequently feel defined by their emotional pain. This can negatively impact relationships, ambitions, work and self-worth. I believe in people’s inherent right to live meaningful and joyful lives and in their ability to choose how to respond to life’s challenges. I support my clients through their courageous process of self-exploration and self-compassion. My therapeutic approach involves treating people as a whole: mind, body & spirit. This allows people to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and with the support of an authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationship, my clients are able to make the changes they want. My areas of specialty include trauma, addictions, depression and anxiety disorders. I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained. EMDR is recognized as a highly effective trauma treatment and allows people to heal from emotional pain that has stemmed from distressing life experiences. “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional” H.M.
I believe that every person, no matter what challenges life has brought them, deserves to live life to their fullest potential. I welcome and embrace all aspects of lived experience and work to help individuals feel safe and comfortable in articulating their deepest feelings. I have a strong interest in working with teens and young adults, empowering them on the path of self discovery and finding their unique place in the world. I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in 2017. Since then, I have worked for Riverside Community Care gaining considerable experience in working with anxiety issues, self regulation and the challenges of family relationships. My trainings in Modern psychoanalysis from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and Motivational Interviewing developed my skills as a compassionate listener. I take a holistic approach to my work and believe that attention to mind, body and spirit is essential for healing. I integrate my additional trainings in mind/body wellness, Integrative Health and Wellness (including nutrition), yoga and Tai Chi, into my practice when and where appropriate.

Great to meet you! My philosophy is simple: listen first, treat second. I take time to understand your story, explain how diagnoses and medications work, and ensure every decision is made together. You’ll never feel rushed or dismissed. I value transparency, education, and collaboration in every session. My approach to treatment: What you can expect from our first session Our first session is about getting to know you. We’ll review your current concerns, explore your history, and discuss what you hope to gain from treatment. Most importantly, you’ll be met with patience and respect. This is a space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin working toward meaningful change together. I help folks get unstuck by using strategies and conserving their energy as best they can. Sometimes all the insight in the world doesn't change your life. I use various behavior therapies so we can understand how and why you tick AND come up with tangible steps towards the life you’ve always wanted. Virtual evening skills groups! I offer virtual DBT skills groups for adults including: young adults, mixed ages and all genders, women only and men only. Generally the folks I work with struggle with high sensitivity, perfectionism, and mild/moderate depression and anxiety symptoms. Most of the folks I work with use the psychoeducational group to enhance the individual healing work they are already doing. The group adds structure and accountability to practicing evidence based coping strategies to better manage moods, identify triggers, improve relationships/communication and overall stress management techniques.

Do you feel stuck or alone? Do you find yourself comparing your life to others? Do you desire a better tomorrow? To acknowledge that you are experiencing something that may benefit from professional support is a powerful first step. You may be noticing changes in your mood, behaviors, or personality as a result of the stressors you currently face or have faced. Too often, we attempt to tackle our greatest insecurities or challenges alone. Together in session, you will never feel alone. You will feel respected, heard and supported as we navigate the issues that bring you into treatment. With my collaboration and support, you can develop the skills you need to cope with life's stressors and ultimately achieve lasting psychological growth. For individuals, I specialize in the management and symptom reduction of depressive and anxiety disorders, as well as effective navigation of life transitions, relationship issues and identity formation (i.e. values identification, development of self-esteem, purpose finding/meaning making). I engage clients through a collaborative, integrative approach to foster learning of necessary skills and development of greater insight. Please note my fee for individual therapy is $200/session. For couples, I specialize in the pursuit of client-identified goals through effective communication, conflict resolution, and applicable skill building. I work with all consensual couples, whether they choose to grow, maintain, or end their relationship, regardless of monogamy status, sexuality, and sexual activity preferences. Please note my fee for couple therapy is $250/session. No question or concern is too great or too small - please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to working with you.
