Good therapy happens when you feel respected and understood. Transformation comes through honest dialogue with your therapist. My style is collaborative and interactive. Guided by the principles of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy - by the belief that our pasts shape our values and feelings, and impact our relationships - I provide individualized talk therapy for life transitions and stressors including Trauma, Loss, and Relationship and Existential Issues across the lifespan. Many of the students I work best with are unsure about medication—or have tried it before and didn’t get the results they hoped for. You might feel hesitant about starting something new, worried about side effects, or unsure if medication is even the right step for you. Some students come in after a frustrating experience, where a medication didn’t help, caused unwanted effects, or just didn’t feel like a good fit. Others have been trying to manage things on their own but are starting to feel stuck with anxiety, low mood, or ongoing stress. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping you make informed decisions. Medication is always a choice, not an expectation. We take time to understand what’s been going on, what hasn’t worked in the past, and what your options are moving forward. If medication is part of the plan, we approach it carefully and adjust based on how you actually feel—not just a checklist. Alongside medication management, I provide clear education and brief supportive therapy so you understand what’s happening and have practical ways to cope day-to-day. If you’re looking for a balanced, no-pressure approach where your concerns are taken seriously, we’ll likely be a good fit.

I work primarily with those suffering from chronic illness. Difficult to treat medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, Lupus, etc. are often poorly understood, and it can be very difficult for patients to find the help and support they need. I teach my clients tools for coping with and managing every day life with these conditions, in addition to mind body medicine practices to help alleviate symptoms and to decrease stress. I have recently started offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy as a way to cope with life stressors or trauma.

I work with clients that are ready to address issues in relationships by addressing the thoughts and behaviors that play a role. Initial sessions look at patterns that impact communication, intimacy, and connection with self and others. We strive to lead with more of who you actually are and less of who you think you "should" be. I work with people who are ready to go deep — not just to feel better, but to understand themselves in a more integrated and compassionate way. Many of my clients are independent, driven, and thoughtful — and they’re longing for a space where they can be vulnerable without performing, fixing, or figuring it all out right away. This work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about becoming more you. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that shaped you, the parts of you that have been trying to protect you, and the deeper truths that are ready to be heard. I hold space for both your personal healing and the ways larger systems affect your I know that finding a therapist that is the "right fit" is most important and would be honored to begin exploring this possibility with you. I am dedicated to offering affirming care and am continually working to provide an LGBTQ+ informed space.

A client centered approach to therapy starts with ensuring the client and therapist have a strong therapeutic relationship. Not all clients and therapist will be a good match. I work to fully understand my clients lived experience so that I can work with you to achieve your therapeutic goals. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I may use a variety of evidence based approaches to achieve results.

One of the great promises of therapy is that even when we don’t know exactly what we need or know how to feel better, if we lean in with curiosity and compassion- and stay committed- we can learn to turn toward ourselves and each other with empathy, begin to build healthier relationships, and ride waves of emotions like a pro surfer. I believe we all have the capacity to grow and reach greater levels of understanding along happiness in life. I think the best way to get there is through a meaningful connection that is created in a safe environment where we can express our authentic needs. I often support clients with experiences like stress, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, bipolar, ADHD, and autism. I have been trained in various clinical techniques in Europe, including schema therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique goals and needs. Growing up outside the US, I also bring a cross-cultural perspective that deepens my understanding of the challenges people from diverse backgrounds might face. I empower my clients to gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that they can make meaningful changes in their lives. Reach out if you're curious about working together!
