Therapists for college students near Denver, CO
utilize a wide range of theories and approaches to provide insights into your psyche and teach skills to help address those revelations. Using primarily Psychoanalytical and psychodynamic therapy, I look at how your unconscious thoughts and perceptions developed throughout your childhood, and how this may affect your current behavior and thoughts. I also use Holistic psychotherapy which is an integrative approach grounded in psychosynthesis. This focuses on the relationship between mind, body, and spirit and explores how issues in one aspect of your life can lead to concerns in other areas. Unlike other forms of therapy, these methods help create deep-seated changes in your emotional development. We all have a part of our psyche that helps us to heal, grow, and thrive; sometimes we lose touch with that part of ourselves. We can feel lost, disconnected, anxious, or depressed. While working collaboratively and genuinely, we can discover what works and what doesn't work for you. By crafting a unique treatment plan that draws upon various theories and approaches such as, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Mindfulness, Play Therapy Approaches, Existential Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Sandtray Therapy we can explore more ways to help create a deeper understanding.
When it feels like a lot. Therapy for a Happier Life Psychotherapy for Individuals, Couples, Families, and Kids in Littleton, Colorado If you are struggling with: Relationship issues Anxiety in your day Finding meaning in your life Stress or burnout A difficult life transition The effects of trauma Feeling sad or hopeless We can figure it out together
I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) as my primary modality. IFS provides an opportunity to look inside yourself and learn why you do the things you do, think the way you think, and how all the parts of you work together. You will learn how to listen to, and learn from, those nagging voices in your head. Once we start listening and learning, a depth of understanding will occur that allows for healing of wounds and releasing of inaccurate beliefs about yourself.

Finding a therapist is hard, especially when 99% of these profiles sound exactly the same. So, let's cut to the chase. I work with men who are struggling with their life the way it is, who are ready to make changes, and get back to living. Whether you're depressed, stressed, angry, constantly fighting, shutting down, or overwhelmed - you're stuck, and I can help. I offer a free initial call so we can work out what's going on, and exactly how I think we can make an impact - both on an immediate basis, and over the long-term. Our first goal: to give you the tools you need to stop feeling stuck, and start moving forward. I want you to walk out of our first session feeling confident you know what you can do to start helping yourself now. As we work together, we'll take a look at the patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that caused those problems in the first place, and start to explore your path forward so you can get back to being the man and partner you want to be. I do great work with Men because I know Men's issues. I know what it's like to feel stuck, and how great it feels to get back to your life, self-esteem, and full potential. Ignoring the problem won't make it go away, so shoot me an email and let's get started. I offer free consultations and online scheduling.

Hi! I'm Annabelle. I work with adults presenting with ADHD and have a history of trauma. Many people who have not been diagnosed in childhood are now noticing how heavy daily life can be, holding everything together with exhaustion and lack of joy. Adults with ADHD have a complex relationship with themselves, the way they have been able to be highly functioning while feeling discombobulated, afraid of rejection, starting but never finishing projects, bored with daily life. I approach therapy from a somatic perspective with a focus on trauma and attachment, as well as a more directive perspective : helping you navigate your ADHD and finding a way to help your life fit you. This blend of approaches works well with individuals navigating daily life while feeling stuck in past experiences of trauma/ childhood wounds. I am ADHD-CCSP certified. I am also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma, experiential work, and EMDR
