Tess Amer

Hello, my name is Tess Amer, LPCC and I am a clinician at iSeek Counseling. I love supporting creative and ambitious children, teens and emerging adults who are having difficulties with their relationships with peers, partners or family members. Teenage and and young adult years are a prime time to increase emotional literacy and learn to better understand yourself and your emotions. I am passionate about guiding young people in this process. Clients may come to me for relationship problems, family issues, social and emotional struggles, rebuilding self-esteem, general life transitions, and personal growth.

I aim to meet my clients where they are at with empathy and compassion. I create a safe and nurturing space to embark on their therapeutic journey at their own pace and work to give them agency to mobilize changes in their life. I like working with attachment theory and my approach is client-centered, direct, non-judgemental, friendly and trauma informed.
