Rethinking Me Therapy
College can look like you have everything figured out while quietly feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who you actually are.
Maybe you were used to being the “smart one” or the one who had it together, and now you’re realizing you feel… average. You’re studying harder but barely getting B’s or C’s or even failing, thinking about dropping a class, or questioning whether you’re even on the right path. You might be considering changing your major (again), taking a leave for your mental health, or feeling pressure to graduate on time so you don’t fall behind your friends.
You might also be trying to figure out what you actually want to do with your life, feeling overwhelmed by career decisions, grad school applications, or exams like the MCAT or LSAT. Or you’re navigating friendships, your identity, dating, and independence for the first time and realizing it’s not as easy as it was told to you.
I work best with college students and young adults who are thoughtful, self-aware, and tired of being stuck in their own head. You might look like you’re doing fine on the outside, but internally feel anxious, disconnected, or unsure of your direction.
Therapy with me is collaborative and real. We don’t just talk about what’s going on. We slow things down, understand the patterns underneath it, and figure out how to actually move forward in a way that fits your life.
I’m not a one-size-fits-all or “just use these coping skills” therapist. Some sessions we process, some we build tools, and some we focus on getting you unstuck and taking action. The goal is not just awareness, but change that feels realistic and sustainable.
If you’re tired of overthinking everything, second-guessing yourself, or feeling like you’re falling behind while everyone else seems fine, therapy can be a space to figure things out without having to pretend you have it all together.
Many college students I work with are trying therapy for the first time. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what your goals are yet, but it does help to have some sense that you want things to feel different and are open to looking at yourself more honestly. This work goes beyond venting or quick fixes. It’s about understanding patterns, building insight, and applying that in real life, even when that process feels uncomfortable at times.
