Journey To Genesis Mental Health Services

Monique Dozier, LCSW is a licensed therapist and founder of Journey to Genesis Mental Health Services. She has worked as a social worker for over a decade, and after years of supporting clients at various hospitals and nonprofits is redirecting her talent and experience to where her passion truly resides: her own community. She directly relates to the first-hand struggles of Black women, and especially Black mothers, face every day. As a mother to 2 vibrant, empowered girls, she also understands how necessary it is to build ourselves up higher than the world could ever tear us down. Monique created Journey to Genesis as a haven for the women tired of explaining themselves, the women tired of code-switching, and most importantly, the women tired of fighting to be heard.
