I am Alex, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned my Master’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before specializing in psychiatry, I spent ten years as a Trauma and Burn Nurse, an experience that shaped my compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. I believe respect, empathy, and understanding are essential to the diagnostic and treatment process. My goal is to provide thoughtful, high-quality mental health care that helps individuals feel supported and empowered.
