Acacia Strzelecki, LPC
Have you ever thought, “Why is this happening to me?”, “I feel so alone,” or “Is this normal?” If so, you’re not alone—and I would love to support you. Whether you’re juggling the demands and transitions of daily life or navigating the complex and long-lasting effects of trauma, I can offer a safe and validating space where your experiences are heard, honored and supported.
I provide couples’ and individual counseling for adolescents (ages 14+) and adults experiencing trauma, eating disorders, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), anxiety, depression, self-harm, and self-esteem challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I use a trauma-informed approach and draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness.
With a trauma-focused therapeutic style, I support individuals in understanding their emotional experiences, building regulation skills, and learning to cope in helpful and appropriate ways. Whether you’re ready to challenge unhelpful thought patterns or simply need someone to listen and hold space, I am here for you.
