Abby Lawson (she/her) is a licensed mental health counselor associate who fosters a warm, engaging, and growth-focused environment in the therapy room. She is trained to support a wide range of needs, including trauma, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, attachment, autism, and neurodivergent identities.
Abby has extensive experience working with children and teens across school, community, and inpatient settings. She is passionate about partnering with children and their caregivers to promote meaningful and sustainable growth through a relational and communication-centered lens.
Her therapeutic approach is highly individualized, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Play Therapy. Abby believes that even the smallest steps can lead to the most impactful change, and she strives to create a supportive and encouraging space where those steps feel possible.
Abby sees clients ages 3+. She accepts Medicaid (MHS, HIP, Anthem, Ambetter, Hoosier Healthwise, Caresource, and Traditional), Aetna, EverNorth (Cigna), IU Health (Narrow and Premier plans), and self-pay.
